Keeping the fires burning
Te Ahi Kaa supports Ember Korowai Takitini to grow cultural confidence and strengthen cultural responsiveness across the Group. Grounded in Te Ao Māori, the rōpū brings together representatives from the Board, Senior Leadership Team, kaimahi, and tāngata whaiora to guide how we honour Te Tiriti o Waitangi in practice.
Through advice on Te Reo and Tikanga Māori, contributions to policy and practice, and ongoing engagement with Mana Whenua, Te Ahi Kaa helps shape how Ember responds to the needs of whānau and communities. This work supports learning across the organisation while strengthening relationships and shared understanding.
